River youth group is all new. New teaches, new activities, new music, and a new look. If you have not been in awhile now is the time to come and check it out. Tuesday 7pm in the youth room.Come early and have pizza with your friends.
The mission of NCC Youth is to lead students to become fully devoted followers of Christ. We do this by bringing students in, building them up in their faith, training them to share the Gospel, and then sending them out into the world to do that. NCC Youth encourages students to take ownership of their faith and equips them to stand strong through the middle and high school years.
River Senior High
River High School meets in the Youth facility adjacent to the main Building. Enter at the South side doors.
There has never been more youth on the planet than today. And if we don’t attract them with the tangible love of God and the power of the Word, the world will lure them with a counterfeit. So at NCC we inspire our youth with passion and purpose to impact their world.
We kick off our Tuesday services with praise and worship led and performed by youth for youth. We follow with practical—rubber-meets-the-road—teaching that uses the filter of God’s Word to discuss relevant issues of the day and build faith into the hearts of our young people.
We also understand that teens are all about fun and fellowship—so we offer heavy doses of both throughout youth night.
We
desire to connect our teens in strong Christian friendships to bolster their stand for Jesus Christ. That is why NCC youth participate in regular social activities like concerts, picnics, movie and pizza nights, outreach events, camps and mission trips.
We are helping this generation see that God is relevant, pouring out His Spirit, not boring and they are not too young to be used by Him! Our students develop lifelong relationships with God and one another.
Flood Middle School
Our youth meet weekly every Tuesday night @7pm
We start at 7 p.m. but the youth room opens at 6 p.m. every Tuesday. The middle school students have a special room at “The Lower Building” which is the building to the right as you pull into the parking lot, take the gravel road around to the back and you’ll see us. We have foosball, pool, an arcade game, and ping pong to keep you entertained as you hang out with friends and youth staff. Our evenings usually include a game, announcements, offering, worship, teaching, small groups, and activities. Parents can pick up their students where they dropped them off. The youth room remains open until 9:30 p.m.
